ART class - Bags & Purses, Saturday 16th September
A Saturday art class with Lisa, in her NEW studio in Forest Hill, SE London.
Join me on the 16th September and learn how to paint your own primed canvas, then make it into a tote bag & zip up purse.
I will teach you the basics of acrylic painting onto canvas before guiding you through the process of making your own hand-stitched tote bag, complete with leather strap (where we get to use my leather punch which is SUPER fun!). I'll also show you how to make your own simple zip purse too!
At the end of the course you'll go home with a tote bag and small purse of your own, and the know-how to make more for friends!
Beginners to seasoned artists very welcome, work at your own pace.
The Saturday session is 10am - 4pm, all materials provided.
Nibbles and endless tea & coffee provided. Please being lunch.
Spaces are very limited, max 6 people.
"I did Lisa’s last block of classes and it was BRILLIANT! It was a real mix of abilities (last time I picked up a paint brush was to scrape through my art GCSE!) Lisa is such a great teacher and creates a really lovely space to explore your inner creativity in a very low pressure way! Highly recommend this to anyone" Josie Shah, Art Club artist.
Thank you so much for your wonderful classes. They inspired me to get creative again and it was so lovely to switch off from the world for a little bit. It was fun playing around with a few different mediums and having work to take home and be a bit proud of. I liked the way there was no ‘wrong answer’ and you encouraged us to give anything a go. In a different class it could have been a bit daunting for someone like me who hasn’t picked up a paintbrush for a while, but I never felt that way. Thanks so much for being such a calm, joyous teacher. I hope to be back!" Sophie Bassil, Art Club artist.
